Targeted consultation
Targeted Consultation (Wednesday 22 October to Wednesday 26 November 2025)
This consultation has now closed.
This phase of consultation allowed us to consult on a series of specific changes to the Scheme development boundary area, compared to the boundary we consulted on during our Phase Two consultation (June to August 2025), providing local communities and interested parties with the opportunity to share their views and feedback.
Copies of the consultation materials produced to inform this phase of consultation can be found here.
We would like to thank everyone who took time to participate and share their views with us.
The feedback received during Phase Two consultation and the targeted consultation is being carefully considered alongside ongoing design and environmental work. This will help shape the refined design for East Pye Solar, which we will submit to the Planning Inspectorate (PINS) as part of our application for development consent.
Our application to PINS will include a Consultation Report summarising the issues raised, with an explanation of how we have taken views into account to develop our proposals as submitted.
We anticipate submitting our application in February 2026. After receiving our application, PINS has 28 days to decide whether to accept it so it can proceed to the Examination stage. If accepted, PINS will publish all the application documents, including the Environmental Statement and Consultation Report, on its website.
